Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how OnlyChill uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit our website.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember your actions and preferences (such as login state or theme) over a period of time, so you do not have to keep re-entering them whenever you come back or browse from one page to another.
2. Which cookies we use
OnlyChill currently uses only strictly necessary cookies. These cannot be switched off because the service cannot function without them.
- Authentication cookies — set by Supabase Auth to keep you signed in across page loads. Without these, every page would log you out.
- Theme preference — a small cookie/localStorage value that remembers whether you prefer light or dark mode.
- Sidebar state — remembers whether you have the sidebar collapsed or expanded in the app shell.
3. Analytics cookies
OnlyChill does not currently set any analytics or tracking cookies. If we add analytics in the future, we will ask for your explicit consent via a cookie banner before any non-essential cookies are placed, and we will update this page accordingly.
4. Third-party cookies
We do not embed advertising, social media widgets, or third-party trackers that would set cookies on our domain. The only third-party cookies used are those set by Supabase Auth as part of the authentication flow described above.
5. Cookie duration
Authentication cookies are session-based and expire when you log out or when the session is refreshed by Supabase. Preference cookies (theme, sidebar state) persist until you clear your browser storage.
6. Your consent
Because we currently only use strictly necessary cookies, we do not display a consent banner. If we introduce non-essential cookies in the future, we will ask for your consent before they are set, in line with the ePrivacy Directive and GDPR.
7. How to disable cookies
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from staying signed in, so core OnlyChill features will not work. Instructions for managing cookies are available in your browser's help documentation.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy as our use of cookies changes. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last updated.
